Farewell Dinner

For our last night in Goldsboro we went out to dinner with our small group- which was so fun.  We started the evening sitting with our spouses- but by the end of the night the guys were at one side of the table talking "shop", while us ladies were at the other end.  It was such a fun night and a great way to see everyone one last time.  Oh how i miss you all....

Leaving Goldsboro

It was so so hard to leave our great group of amazing friends in Goldsboro this past January. God truly blessed us with the such amazing friends while we were there! I still miss and think of these guys everyday! Morgan had his fini flight for the squadron which was so fun. Quite a few of our good friends came out to watch which was so so sweet. Morgan also got to fly with Ryan for his fini- which was so fun.

Goldsboro Shower

My fabulous friends in Goldsboro threw an amazing shower for me before we left.  Of course I was only 13 weeks pregnant- but they blessed Me, Morgan and Baby Lohse.  Our friends are so so so generous.  Since we didnt know what we were having yet- we got tons of gift cards and baby gear!!!

My friends Emily and Meredith threw the shower for me- and it was so so thoughtful and very me. They did everything in acents of teal- which I loved.

 My friend Jill was able to drive to Goldsboro for the shower- her daughter Kennedy couldnt wait for me to open the present she brought me! she kept on telling me happy birthday it was so cute!

Emily emailed my mom and asked if there was anything that she wanted Emily to share at the shower since my mom couldnt make it- Emily framed a poem that was read to my mom at her baby shower when she was expecting me! The poem is called "In these Last Few Hours." Lets just say that since most of the ladies in the room where moms or pregnant there wasnt a dry eye in the place. It meant so much to me to have that read. 
I was so honored to have all these amazing Moms give me advice and some of their baby must have items.  Baby Lohse is so loved already!!!

 

New Years Eve

We have the best group of friends in Goldsboro- I mean seriously I am so so blessed to have each one of these amazing people in our lives. For New Years eve we got together at our friends Andrea and Derek's casa for a little food and fun. Andrea had a great idea to do a baked potato bar for dinner- which i thought was such a great idea for new years eve! We had the best time hanging out with them our friends Ashley and Stephen and Betsy and Mark. It was a great way to send us into 2012!!!

Christmas 2011

We had such a great Christmas this year! My mom and Bruce and Phyllis came out to spend it with us. It was so much fun to have them all at our home! It was so fun to spend one last christmas with our parents before our little one arrives. It was also fun to get a few lil presents for him!!!

Thanksgiving 2011

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house in North Carolina we had some of our closest friends over and had such a great time. Of course the only pictures I took was of the table- and none after that-oh well. It was a great thanksgiving- and was great to spend with so many great friends.
